I redesigned the look and feel of St Edmund Hall's annual magazine, modernising the section headers, fonts and layout, as well as the cover. Previous editions had focused on the College's history, and despite being printed in full colour throughout, hadn't utilised colour in a bold way. I worked with the College to create a new template that would both satisfy the traditionalists, and create a fresh new look.

I suggested including more photos of key academics throughout the updates, to make news feel more real and personal, and to introduce key members of staff to alumni.
The Section Dividers
Since the publication is over 200 pages, I recommended we make the section dividers more visible so that readers could navigate the document more easily, especially when using it as a reference.
